From the North - Route 1
Exit left onto Business Rte 1 into Damariscotta. About one half mile after McDonalds and Hannaford on your left, is downtown Damariscotta. Skidompha Library is on the right, in the center of town. Continue past the library and Maine Coast Book Shop and take the next right, just before Reny's. This will place you behind the Lincoln County Community Theater and then the library. Entrance for plays at the library is on the back side, not the Main Street Entrance. Skidompha Library is completely handicapped accessible.
From the South - Route 1
Exit right onto Business Rte 1. Proceed down the ramp and the Congregational Church will be on your right. Bear right and cross the small bridge which connects Newcastle with Damariscotta. Just past Reny's on the left, turn left and this will place you behind the Lincoln County Community Theater and then the library. Entrance for plays at the library is on the back side, not the Main Street Entrance. Skidompha Library is completely handicapped accessible.
