Education

Education is an important aspect of Heartwood's mission. Our educational goals are:

• Challenge and motivate young artists

• Provide training, discipline, and support

• Focus on unity  of the ensemble

• Outreach across Midcoast Maine

Our education programs include:

• In-school residencies and visiting artists through Heartwood Goes To School

• HYPE! an after-school performance-oriented program

• Heartwood Youth productions -- drama and musical theater works presented by student performers

• Summer theater arts camps

These programs are open to all students in  the Midcoast area.
