Medea. One of the most searingly intense of all Greek tragedies. In Medea, we meet a deeply flawed woman, spurned by her husband (whose life she earlier saved). Also featured - a Greek Chorus of three women, representing the phases of womanhood, Creon, Aegeus and an elderly tutor, the protector ofMedea's two young sons.
Fast moving and emotional, with Jeffers' powerfully compact poetic rendering, Medea takes us on a roller coaster ride to the heart of revenge.
