Adapted by Griff Braley from E.M. Forster's 1909 short story - set in 2030 - a highly regarded work in the dystopian genre. Forster's only science fiction work focuses tightly on technological alienation and the slipping away of human contact, in the modern age. Our production features a top notch large ensemble of actors playing many roles, including a futuristic machine, to play out the story of a mother and son, attempting to find one another before technology brings an end to the world. With dance/movement guided by Niall Lessard, an original score created by Sophia Scott, and a highly atmospheric set design, we promise a unique and startling look at the intersection of humanity and technology.
