The Heartwood Theater Group consists of a growing core ensemble of regional adult actors, auditioned actors, and occasional professional or semi-professional performers invited for a particular role. Members of the Group participate in critique sessions following each production.

Heartwood will endeavor to read or produce one new work each season. Every effort will be made to promote original work. Designers and directors will work to engage the audience with purpose driven unified stage concepts, acknowledging tradition as they engage the the new.
